It should be said that the role of a nurse in the improvement of the health of people could not be overestimated. Thus, it is possible to outline three main assets which show the great importance of nurses. These assets are assessment, assurance and policy development (Kaakinen et al., 2014). Nurses monitor the health of communities and at the same time serve as the guaranty that health services will be available. Moreover, they take part in formulating policies which main aim is to solve different health problems which appear (Savage, & Kub, 2009).

Having analyzed the given issue, it is possible to make a certain conclusion. It becomes obvious that nurses play an important role in the process of the improvement of the health of the nation, trying to guarantee access to medical services.
