Constituent Group and Healthcare

Good health is one of the major backbones of every economy (Clever, 2011). There has been a lot of advancement of technology in the research area of drugs and disease diagnostics; this has led to the development of policies to suit the current changes in the health care sector. Some of these policies include the continual provision of better health care services to the people, targeting the older group that has a greater impact on society, and contributions to economic integrations and social support. The main supporting body in the health sector is the insurance company. Most of these companies act as a saving medium for health care insurance. This is good because health security is fundamental to the main stakeholders who are both old and young in every working nation. When health is compromised then development and visionary works are also compromised.

Health care systems are managed by individuals that are vision-oriented and have the essence of change in their thoughts. One fundamental change that will never end in the health sector is the demographic change. The issue of increase or decrease in population is an important issue to be noted by health planners. When there is an increase in population, various reform actions such as an increase in drug acquisition, and an increase in health facilities are always common (Rechel, 2009). As the government tries to moderate its share of tax in the health sector, various organizations have been quick to vet for other options of providing health care. As much as the government could be willing to salvage the effect of population increase, it can be overwhelmed by population increase. It is therefore at this point that the insurance company plays a big role. This is because, through several years of policy sales, they can ensure great healthcare for the people.

Government surrendering tactics are not ideal because people and good health are a great resource to every nation. The government’s sole duty should be to prevent the decline in health status. Trends in health among older people are the most complex to manage. Older people are highly susceptible to aging diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and certain forms of disability in their senses. The right approach to this change should be better provision of health care (Rechel, 2009). This will ensure that when individuals are old, they do not contract the common old age diseases. Hence, the cost of health care and services in the future would reduce. Health insurance companies have therefore merged with the government to provide healthcare for better living.

It is the people that form the basic foundation for any insurance company. By signing up with the companies, one can accumulate funds that would cater to future health requirements. When this method of health security is adopted by most individuals, health-related problems would be an issue of the past. That is why most health insurance companies have been selling their policies everywhere by advertising their products. This is quite commendable for the health insurance companies. Recruiting a large number of people to insure has been their top agenda in every business. More people act as their main source of the force that holds them in place (Clever, 2011). The only challenge has been the rapid technological changes and the demographic changes in the recent past. Other target groups and sources of power are, research organizations, industries, commercial institutions, and the government as a whole.
