People face numerous challenges when designing information systems in health care. This is because they do not know the steps to follow when designing a health care system. People should consider various things when designing systems like the shortcomings of the other systems and the requirements.

First, they allow easy access to patient information and classification of patients using the information. Second, they ensure easy administration of the facility including patient services, finances, etc.
